We can all learn from King Kenny!
As some of you will know, I love football, and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to guess that my team is Liverpool! Love em! Can’t get enough of them!
At the weekend, I was reflecting on what’s happened to the Reds over the last few months and how Liverpool have performed since the return of Kenny Dalglish. The teams’ recent victory over Man Utd wasn’t just any ordinary win. Yes, we won 3-1(why we let their last ditched goal in I’ll never know!). To me, the result was proof that it was a victory for belief!
Kenny Dalglish has transformed the team. You can see it in the way they play together as a team. One thing which is evident is the happiness within the camp. Kenny is relaxed in his interviews, and this ebbs through into the team. The team have played well since Kenny’s return because they have been enjoying what they do.
This is a great lesson for all of us in business. Yes, it can be tough; yes it can be stressful; but, if we enjoy what we do and are happy in what we are doing, everyday business life is made a lot easier!
